Or you can purchase the DIY clay-based paints from our collection and enjoy painting this yourself in your own way, with clay paints that adhere beautifully to a wooden surface like this, with no need for a primer. I don't recommend that, because of the value this piece holds, but once you buy a piece, of course it's yours to do with as you please.

You may wish to have me refinish this piece, by pulling back the finish and sealing it in its natural state, adding a light stain or paint wash, or returning it to close to a factory stain and finish. I can also get that done for you at a partner site if you like.   Custom work is always one of a kind, like all my work.
